The frozen eggnog daiquiri, sometimes simply known as Cajun eggnog, is fairly specific to New Orleans — the seasonal, boozy beverage starts popping up at drive-thru daiquiri shops and at bars in Louisiana around Thanksgiving. It combines the festivity of a spiced drink with the beloved frozen daiquiri, thus taking into consideration the potential for warm Louisiana weather in December. But even when it is cold outside, the eggnog daiquiri will warm you right up — done well, it’s spicy, boozy, and not as sweet as it sounds. Here are a few spots around New Orleans offering an eggnog daiquiri for the 2020 holiday season.
