Savvy chefs entice locals with all kinds of special deals, plus during the month of August, COOLinary New Orleans puts close to 100 restaurants on sale with $20 lunch and $39 dinner menus. Across the lake, Tammany Taste of Summer offers the same kind of discounts, also in the month of August. Participating restaurants haven’t been announced just yet, but get a jump on summertime snacking with this line up of red hot deals.
