From gluten free dishes to vegan specialties, with Paleo and juicing thrown in for good measure, New Orleans is actually fairing pretty well for the health minded these days. As the weather heats up and you're sweating out grease like a sorry, day-old french fry, it is at least something to ponder. Here now, are twelve places to find healthy food now.

This vegan cafe above Feelings aims for more of a fine dining appeal (with a casual vibe) and chef Ann Churchill amazes, offering everything from tamales to tofu crabby cakes to the cashew cheese plate. Plus, house kombucha.
