Remember when that burger explosion happened in New Orleans a few years back, and everybody thought the city had reached peak-burger? Well, turns out everybody was wrong.

While 2015 is shaping up to be the year of the zany burger, from 'sliderettes' to llama burgers, there's no better time to sink your teeth into a juicy bite than Independence Day weekend. Likely you're off tomorrow. Likely you'll want to seek one of these bad boys out. Here now, the hottest new burgers in town.

Know of another great new burger? Leave a comment and tell Eater where it's at why it rules.
