Stephanie Carter is freelance writer and editor, and previous editor of Eater New Orleans. Her next book, from LSU Press, will explore the go-cup's cultural significance in Louisiana. She's written for the the Washington Post, the James Beard Foundation, Culture, Edible New Orleans, Eater, and other publications, and has authored two books: the A-Z Encyclopedia of Food Controversies (ABC-CLIO) and the Law and the Little Local New Orleans Cookbook (Countryman).
