Beignet Fest, the five-year old fall festival held annually in City Park, is canceled this year; but vendors across New Orleans have signed up to offer festival favorites for pickup this weekend, July 24-26.

Organizers have partnered with local restaurants to put on ‘Beignet Fest at Their Place,’ a way to continue the event and its fundraising in 2020 while following social distancing guidelines. Beignet Fest co-founder Sherwood Collins said in a press release that “though capacities are limited in New Orleans restaurants for safety concerns, we feel it’s even more imperative to patronize these establishments.”

Participating New Orleans restaurants include Loretta’s Authentic Pralines, Luca Eats, Sno-La Snowballs, the Howlin’ Wolf, Ruby Slipper Cafe, and The Vintage. The full list of vendors, which extend to the Northshore and Baton Rouge, and a menu of their dishes can be found here. Below, a handful of Beignet Fest favorites to pick up around New Orleans this weekend, Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26.
