With dine-in service suspended in New Orleans through May 16, Eater is rounding up what — and how — to eat and drink in the city during the pandemic, including restaurants open for takeout and delivery. As statuses change daily, not every restaurant open is listed here, and not every restaurant listed will remain open. Please visit websites and social media pages individually to check status and hours, and please see our takeout and delivery neighborhood guides for the most up-to-date restaurant listings.

BAYOU ST. JOHN/MID CITY

Blue Oak BBQ — Curbside pickup from 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., and happy hour deals remain in place from 3 to 6 p.m.

Brown Butter Kitchen & Bar — Serving a curbside menu 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, also with home delivery to a limited area.

Cafe DegasThe beloved Cafe Degas’ kitchen is now open Wednesday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., serving a daily menu. Bonus — if a delivery order is placed, a 20% gratuity that goes directly to the driver will be included, and the restaurant will match it with an additional $5 for each order.

Coco HutThis Jamaican gem is open for takeout Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call to order for pickup or via Uber Eats for delivery.

Fharmacy Offering delivery for orders within a mile radius and open for takeout from 11 a.n. to 9 p.m. Call to order.

Frey Smoked Meat Co. — Offering the full menu delivery and curbside pickup from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday, as well as 15% off and a free beer to local service workers.

Half Shell on the BayouCall for curbside service Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or find on third-party delivery apps.

Katie’s — Katie’s full menu as well as new family meal opens are available for curbside takeout and delivery.

Liuzza’s by the Track — Call ahead for curbside pickup (or delivery in Mid City), Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Lola’s — Curbside pickup and delivery from 4 to 9 p.m. for all you paella needs; call to order.

Mayhew Bakery — Order fresh baked baguettes, chocolate almond pies, biscuits, and more from the bakery’s online store for orders to be picked up on Wednesday and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

Mid City Pizza — MCP and MCP Uotown are both open, serving classic American thin crust pies with all the toppings, appetizers, calzones, and sandwiches, and is now serving slices. Call to order for pickup or limited delivery (for an extra $2.50).

Neyow’s is open for takeout orders, Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call ahead to order for pickup from the full menu.

Santa Fe — open and serving its full menu of Southwestern fare along with daily specials via curbside pickup and delivery. Call to place an order between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.

Sweet Soulfood — Offering its all-vegan comfort food (gumbo and red beans, stuffed bell peppers greens and mac and cheese, cornbread and bread pudding) for curbside pickup Friday and Saturday only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Order online.

Toups Meatery — Chef Isaac Toups is offering curbside takeout from 11 a.m. to – 9 p.m. daily, and will soon be offering third party delivery with GrubHub.

ZasuThe brilliant Sue Zemanick is serving her entire menu for pickup from Zasu, just call the restaurant.


BYWATER

Bywater American Bistro — Chef Nina Compton will be hosting a series of takeout pop-ups at Bywater American Bistro; follow here.

Capulet — Open with a special takeout menu Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Order for pickup online or delivery via Doordash.

Galaxie — Offering a slightly limited menu for pickup, Tuesday – Saturday, 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Place order here.

The Joint — Open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for takeout, and willing to deliver in the Bywater to Esplanade and N Robertson with a minimum $20 order.

Shake SugaryOpen for a limited takeout menu of coffee, sweet and savory pastries, and desserts Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Suis Generis — Open for local delivery and sidewalk takeout Friday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check the site for menus and call to order/inquire about available items.


CBD/WAREHOUSE DISTRICT

CarmoThis global gem with some of the freshest food in town is open for takeout and delivery via UberEats from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and is adding international-themed family meals with menus from Puerto Rico, Haiti, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Peru and Japan. Prices vary from $12 to $15 per person.

Cleo’s Mediterranean — The French Quarter location is closed, but Cleo’s on Canal is open for takeout and free delivery through Uber Eats 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Copper Vine — Wine pub Copper Vine is offering curbside takeout and 3rd party delivery with GrubHub, Waitr and Uber Eats, and offering a 20 percent discount off all items for both.

Espíritu Mezcaleria — Mezcal hub Espíritu Mezcaleria and Cocina will be offering delivery through Waitr and pick up/take out through Ritual or call-in.

Merchant — The CBD coffee shop is open for takeout and “drive-thru” daily from 7 a.m. to noon. Orders for drive-up can be placed at 504-571-9580.

Rye & Pie: This year-old pizza place in the Warehouse District is serving its full menu of Neapolitan style wood-fired pizza, appetizers, salads, sandwiches and vegan options. Call to order for curbside pickup, noon to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Tsunami Sushi — Open with an updated menu for takeout and curbside delivery Monday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Also offering “sushi at home” kits with items needed for 6-8 people to make their own rolls.


CENTRAL CITY

Central City BBQ — Central City BBQ is offering drive-thru, UberEats, Door Dash, and D’livery Nola, and also serving brisket, pulled pork, ribs and limited sides from a drive-thru in St. Catherine of Sienna’s parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Maïs ArepasOpen for takeout from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and delivery if in the vicinity.


FRENCH QUARTER

Doris Metropolitan — Doris Metropolitan’s full menu is available for curbside pickup and delivery, and it’s also taking orders for fresh bread and cuts of meat from its butcher shop, daily from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. Half off the entire wine menu for pick up orders.

Galatoire’s — Galatoire’s is offering a different grab-and-go meal for four, with menus for the next day being announced at 3 p.m. each day. $76 plus tax and service charge. Orders can be placed by phone between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily or by emailing sales@galatoires.com.

GW FinsGW Fins is back with some exciting options — in addition to three-course dinner menus, it’s selling fresh, uncooked seafood like drum, halibut, and shrimp; and sauces and sides. Call to order beginning at 11 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday — dinner pickup is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and seafood/sides can be picked up between noon and 7:30 p.m.

Holy CrepesOpen daily for regular and vegan/gluten-free crepes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free delivery to the French Quarter, Marigny, and Bywater. Call 504-513-4769 to order.

Italian Barrel — Full menu available for pickup and delivery, and now serving sandwiches.

Manolito — Serving carryout from 2 to 9 p.m. and to-go cocktails even later. FQ/Bywater/Marigny/UberEats delivery available.

Palm & Pine — Takeout available Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including a plate lunch special available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.


IRISH CHANNEL

Boil Seafood House — Temporary current hours for takeout, delivery, and bulk orders are Monday through Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 1 to 9 p.m.

Coquette — Offering takeout with plans to add delivery. Daily menus will be uploaded to both the Thalia and Coquette instagram pages; pickups will take place at Coquette between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m.

District Donuts Sliders Brew — Now offering free delivery for orders over $30 or more within a 5 mile radius of any local stores.

Joey K’s — Open for takeout red beans and rice, fried seafood, and soft shell crabs, and more from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Also available via D’livery Nola.

Jung’s — Serving traditional Chinese-American fare and more for pickup every day until 10 p.m. Delivery also available via Grub Hub.

Poke Loa — Open for curbside pickup of its refreshing poke bowls built with rice or greens. Order online; limited delivery is available.

Slim Goodies DinerIrish Channel’s breakfast and brunch king is serving up breakfast and comfort food daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call for curbside pickup and free delivery in the Irish Channel and Uptown neighborhoods.

Stein’s Market & Deli — Open for call ahead orders to pick up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Also offering catering.

The Vintage — Serving a menu of coffee, pastries, beignets, and snacks daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for curbside pickup.


LAKEVIEW/CITY PARK

The Blue Crab — Open with a limited menu (on its homepage) for takeout, Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call to order.

The Backyard — Open with a limited menu of smoky eats like muffaletta deviled eggs, pimento cheese, chicken wings, and more than ten barbecue sandwiches. Call from 2 to 8 p.m. to order.

El Gato Negro — Order online for takeout or delivery via DoorDash from noon to 8 p.m.

Junior’s on Harrison — Currently delivering globally-influenced family meals to Lakeview, Lake Vista, Bucktown, and Old Metairie. Call 504-766-6902 or email to order.

Lotus Bistro Lakeview’s new sushi spot is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner, 4:30 to 9 p.m. Call or order online.

Ming’s — Offering a condensed menu for takeout (order by phone) Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Rizutto’s Ristorante & Chop House — Temporary hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday; closed Monday. Takeout, curbside delivery and delivery via Dlivery Nola available.

RosedaleNow open for curbside pickup, 3 to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Order via Toast.

Station 6 — Open for delivery or curbside pickup Tuesday through Saturday, 3 to 8 p.m.

Three B’s Burger & Wine Bar — Serving a limited takeout menu of specialty burgers, starters like chicken wings and totchos, salads and sandwiches, and frozen drinks to-go from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Call to order.

Two Tony’s — The Creole Italian classic is open from 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Call to order for takeout or curbside delivery.

Blue GiantThis brand new Chinese-American hotspot has had a no-takeout policy since opening, so this is a chance to bring home a slew of high-quality versions of classic Chinese takeout dishes. Call the restaurant to place an order.

Fat Boy Pantry — Open for both its full menus and a range of groceries. Schedule curbside pickup from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

Paladar 511The delicious Paladar is offering a limited takeout menu and selling retail-priced beer and wine from 4 to 8 p.m. daily.

Ruby Slipper CafeThe family-owned chain’s locations remain open for takeout and delivery from 8 a.m to 2 p.m., serving a modified, to-go friendly menu. Order through Toast to pickup and through Uber Eats for delivery.

Shank Charcuterie — Call 504-218-5281 for to-go orders, including from the regular full-service butcher.

Sukho Thai — Open and serving its vast menu for pickup or delivery through Waitr. Open 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Bordeaux — The French bistro is offering a delivery service for a limited menu Tuesday - Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.. Boucherie — Nathanial Zimet’s Uptown meatery is offering half and full-sized pans dishes for pickup and delivery, from a new daily menu here.

Crêpes à la Cart — Open for pickup and delivery, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until at least midnight; Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until at least midnight.

Del FuegoDel Fuego’s takeout menu is available Tuesday through Saturday, 2 to to 7 p.m. Call the restaurant when you arrive and staff will bring it curbside.

Haiku Sushi Haiku on Magazine Street is offering takeout and delivery of its full menu. Order online for delivery or call for takeout, noon to 9 p.m. daily.

Jamila’s Mediterranean Cuisine — It’s a great time to support the longtime, family-owned Jamila’s, offering takeout from 5 p.m. to 930 p.m. daily.

Kindred — The new cafe’s all-vegan comfort food is available for pickup or delivery via DoorDash, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Live Oak CafeOrder pickup or delivery for brunch and lunch Thursday through Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. through the website.

Luvi — Curbside pickup orders can be placed on Luvi’s website or by phone, and is now accepting delivery orders via Postmates. New hours will from 4:30pm to 8:30pm Tuesday- Saturday.

Nomiya — Curbside pickup available, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.

Pupuseria La Macarena — 17 years later, this pupusa spot is open for takeout or delivery via Uber Eats and Waitr, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily except Tuesday.

Saba — Chef Alon Shaya is serving Middle Eastern family-style menus to-go with curbside pickup. Call or order online via Toast.

Saffron NolaAdding pickup for the first time, Tuesday through Sunday. Phones open at 9:30 a.m., with curbside pickup from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. 40% off all wine bottles until its gone.

Taceaux Loceaux — The beloved taco-truck turned delightful Uptown restaurant has pivoted to pickup or delivery via Uber Eats and Grubhub.
