There are a number of reasons to let a restaurant handle Christmas dinner this year, from months of nonstop home cooking to the increasingly important need to support New Orleans restaurants. Luckily, a record number of places are offering holiday meals for home this season, and there are even a handful of options still available for those who haven’t figured out their meal yet. These are a few New Orleans restaurants still taking orders for Christmas takeout — though most ordering deadlines are the end of Monday, December 21. For more festive dining ideas, check out Eater New Orlean’s 2020 holiday dining guide. Check restaurant websites or or call to confirm if meals are still available.
