A touring Pokémon-themed pop-up bar that’s making the rounds nationwide and throughout cities in England next year will make a stop in New Orleans, January 11 and 12, 2020. The PokéBar pop-up touts themed food and drink, Pokémon trivia, giveaways, costume contests, and other related entertainment.
While the local location is still being confirmed, tickets will cost $45 and include a Pokémon burger fashioned to look like Pikachu, Charmander, or Bulbasaur, and a to-be-announced drink option (vegetarian options will also be available). In addition to the trivia and costume contests, organizers are planning for a DJ to inspire a Pokémon dance party. The venue will also serve as a Pokémon gym, where players can catch and train their Poké-creatures, like a live action Pokémon Go game.
Tickets aren’t on sale just yet, but interested Poké-fans can register for a pre-sale on the website with their city and email, or sign up for the newsletter to be notified when tickets become available for purchase.
