Feelings Cafe, open since 1979, has closed its doors in the Marigny. Todd Price reports that owner Craig Trentecosta has been looking for someone else to run the restaurant.
Feelings has established a pattern recently of getting new owners every two years. Tony Marino bought the restaurant in 2014. In 2015, Marino nearly changed the restaurant’s name amid changes to the menu and an interior renovation. Two years later, in 2016, Trentecosta bought the restaurant. He’s owned it for the last two years.
Price also reports that another, unidentified restaurant owner is considering taking over the lease. Eater NOLA has separately confirmed with that restaurant owner that a deal is in the works, but it’s still under consideration and nothing is official yet.
