Dana and Christina Honn have just expanded their tropical-themed Warehouse District restaurant, Carmo, to include Bar do Carmo, a bar addition serving caipirinhas, chilcanos, and other tropical drinks, reports the Gambit.
Bar do Carmo has a 12-seat bar, communal tables, and a dedicated bar menu including bar snacks like Spanish olives, Brazilian cheese bread, and smoked Gulf fish fritters.
Carmo gained a serious following since opening in 2010 for more than its food (which includes plenty of dishes for both meat-eaters and vegans). It’s also a big player in the sustainable seafood movement.
Bar do Carmo is open until midnight.
