New restaurant Barracuda will bring tacos “inspired by ingredients and recipes [Brett] Jones came across while traveling with his wife in Mexico City and southern California” to Tchoupitoulas Street this fall, according to a report by the Gambit. The taco shop will move into a small spot with a big outdoor space at 3984 Tchoupitoulas.
Previously, Jones was the operations manager at Dinner Lab. He also managed front and back of the house at Ruby Slipper and was the opening manager at the Ace Hotel.
The new eatery will have a full bar.
