SHIT PEOPLE STEAL — Ok so something wild is going on with Baton Rouge crawfish. Last week Eater NOLA had word that someone stole 400 pounds of the crustaceans from Pit-N-Peel on Government Street. This week, a Baton Rouge native’s crawfish spoils were stolen. Brittany Case is attending University of South Carolina-Upstate and had organized a crawfish boil for her softball team. A trailer full of $9K in supplies — 160 pounds of crawfish and 30 pounds each of sausage and corn — was stolen from a nearby hotel. [ADVOCATE]
