New Orleans caffeine favorite French Truck Coffee is in double expansion mode, as the small batch roaster has announced another new location — this time, for the Garden District.
The four-year-old coffee company will take over a former CC’s Coffee House space on Magazine Street near Sixth, with plans to open in November.
Back in August, French Truck also announced a new downtown location, on Poydras Street — that location was also meant to open in the fall, but appears to have been pushed to early 2019. The two expansions will bring the cafe to five locations within New Orleans.
The 1,900 square foot Magazine Street space will be designed by local firm Colectivo, as with French Truck’s previous expansions — expect a feast of the coffee shop’s bright and cheery blue and yellow color scheme, alongside the usual coffee and pastry offerings.
French Truck isn’t limiting itself just to New Orleans these days — in the last 18 months, it also opened locations in Baton Rouge and Memphis, with a total of seven cafes.
