Louis Armstorg International Airport (MSY) finally has a dedicated wine bar now that Vino Volo, part of a national chain of food and wine bars, has opened in Concourse C. That’s the home of American, JetBlue, and international flights, according to a report on NOLA.COM. The wine bar opened on Saturday.
Vino Volo, evidence of a continued effort by airport officials to upgrade the food and drink offerings at Satchmo airport, includes domestic and international wines by the glass, flight, and bottle, plus lunch and dinner consisting of small plates (salads, crostini, sandwiches).
The best part is that the wine bar is past security, so travelers can buy bottles to take on the flight. Just make sure to purchase a bottle with a screw off cap.
Vino Volo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
