The ever-expanding Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts empire will add another restaurant to its roster with the opening of Curio on the corner of Royal Street and Bienville Street in mid to late September. Todd Price reports that Hayley Vanvleet, former sous chef and Peche and butcher at Cochon Butcher, will lead the kitchen.

The building has been renovated, with a large bar and dining area on the first floor that has windows looking out on the busy corner. The second-floor dining room also has a broad, shaded gallery that wraps around the building where customers can dine.

The restaurant will serve brunch, lunch, and dinner with menu items such as tuna and scallop carpaccio, coriander blackened redfish, and tres leches bread pudding.

Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts is the group behind Broussard’s, Kingfish, Tommy’s Cuisine, and the recently opened NOSH. Curio will be located near the Royal Street antique shops. [NOLA.COM]
