Commander’s Palace Has a Secret Password for Wine Deals

And more top dining intel

FACEBOOK

Commander’s Palace is cleaning out its award-winning wine cellar and deeply discounting the wines that have to go, some by 50 percent. The only thing is that restaurant patrons have to use a secret password when they call to make their dinner reservation: Grapenuts. No secret password; no special discount wine list. The promotion runs through the end of July and is only available for dinner.

Update: The wines on the Grapenuts menu are extremely limited in quantity. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
