Owners of fine dining dame Galatoire’s, John Georges and Todd Trosclair, are scooping up properties around New Orleans and have yet to disclose the purpose of the new addresses. The New Orleans Advocate reports that the pair bought the building at 211 Royal St. and 747 St. Charles Ave.
While Georges and Trosclair did not state how the new spaces would be used, The New Orleans Advocate published a statement from Galatoire's president Melvin Rodrigue stating that the purchase opens up "a number of possibilities, including restaurants that can complement Galatoire's current family of restaurants or another concept operated by someone outside of Galatoire's."
Georges does confirm that Galatoire’s would not be moving from its current 209 Bourbon St. address.
Any ideas that you would like to see in the new spaces? Leave it in the comments.
