River Ridge Is Getting a Bud’s Broiler

Another expansion announcement for beloved burger slinging mini-chain, Bud’s Broiler: It’s setting up shop in River Ridge before summer is over.

Todd Price reports that “Mel Zeigler, the owner of Bud's Broiler, said a lease on the building near John Curtis Christian High School was signed Tuesday (May 30).” The address of the new spot is 10210 Jefferson Highway.

It was announced earlier this week that the restaurant would also be opening in Baton Rouge, marking its first expansion outside the New Orleans area. In addition to the forthcoming River Ridge location, Bud’s Broiler has several locations in New Orleans, including Metairie, Covington, and Chalmette.

Price notes that “The River Ridge outlet will be the ninth Bud's Broiler. Zeigler, who bought the company in 2015, is also considering a Slidell outlet along with more locations in New Orleans.”
