Saints quarterback and Super Bowl champion Drew Brees is planning 73 new franchise locations of Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar, which he co-owns with partners, reports the Orlando Business Journal. Brees joined the company with his wife, Brittany Brees, in May 2015.

Brees, no stranger to the franchise food game, has his favorites at the Louisiana-born chain that he fell in love with on his way home from the Superdome. Drew’s faves are the “duck and andouille gumbo, the hickory burger, the catfish Atchafalaya, and the California club wrap.” He also digs the seared ahi tuna salad for a healthier option and the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding for a completely unhealthy option. "I can't eat the [bread pudding] while I'm training," he said told the Orlando Business Journal.

The original Walk-On’s is in Baton Rouge near LSU. There are now 12 locations of Walk-On’s, with six more opening this year. The partners are “looking into multiple markets like Indianapolis, Charlotte, N.C., and Columbus, Ohio, but those searches are in early stages...the company plans to close on four locations in the Orlando market by this week, but the exact locations were not shared.” [Orlando Business Journal]
