New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) recently added non-stop service to Frankfurt, Germany, on Condor Airlines.

This is a big deal. It’s the second European service to launch from New Orleans in 2017, marking the return of trans-Atlantic service to the Gulf South region for the first time in over 30 years.

The new flights offer business, premium, and economy class. All Condor passengers receive complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals and in-flight entertainment. Condor’s Business Class gets five-course meals with complimentary wine, beer, and cocktails. Business Class passengers also have access to priority check-in and business class lounges at most airports. Premium Class gets “premium meals and complimentary beverages.” The press release did not reveal what economy passengers would be snacking on, but the important part is what to eat once you get to Germany.

Here now, Eater’s guides to eating your way through Germany.
