We Have the Dates for This Year’s Boudin, Bourbon & Beer (and Carnivale du Vin)

Drumroll, please...

This just in: we now have the dates for this year’s Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and Carnivale du Vin — the charitable events from the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. The 2017 version of BB&B is happening Friday, November 3, while the CdV is taking place the next night, Saturday, November 4. Tickets will go on sale starting July 7.

2017’s Boudin, Bourbon & Beer is again happening at Champions Square. Last year many thousands gathered to sample boudin-inspired wares (and libations, of course) from over 60 chefs from around the country. Need some help visualizing what this will all look like? Eater meticulously covered the event in 2014.

Meanwhile, the Carnivale du Vin is a slightly more upscale (yet still boozy) affair — think black-tie, auctions and pricey plates for the charity wine auction and gala.

Both events are the doing of the Emeril Lagasse Foundation — a youth-focused organization. The 2016 fundraising weekend raised more than $3 million for the foundation’s beneficiaries.
