Beyonce and Jay Z Ate Fried Chicken and Biscuits at Willa Jean on Saturday

Apparently it’s that time of the season to star gaze in New Orleans. E! News reports that Beyonce, Jay Z, and Blue Ivy Carter were joined by sister Solange Knowles and her son Daniel Julez Smith at Willa Jean on Saturday.

The group were reportedly there to partake Southern lunch dishes like fried chicken and biscuits, while fans attempted to sneak photos of the Lemonade singer.

Many celebrities were in town over the weekend for the NBA All-Star game. Walking lit match Guy Fieri also made the rounds at the arena, while Chrissy Teigen crowdsourced suggestions for where to get New Orleans’ best gumbo on Twitter (husband John Legend and daughter Luna were spotted court side).

Beyonce and Jay Z made a smart dining pick. Pastry chef Kelly Fields of the Besh Group-backed hotspot Willa Jean was recently named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award.
