The latest New Orleans location of Los Angeles-based chain Blaze Pizza debuted today. The 2,400-sqaure-foot restaurant is located at 5001 Freret St., on the corner of Robert Street and Freret near Dat Dog.

This is the second Big Easy location for the LeBron James-backed brand, which launched its first location on O’Keefe Avenue in the CBD in 2015. The Freret Street eatery seats 56 diners and features and additional 14 seats on the outdoor patio.

The fast-casual chain serves up a mixture of custom made pizzas and signature pies, as well as salads. The personal pizzas baked in an open-flame oven average around $8. In addition to a range of toppings the menu offers gluten-free dough options and vegan cheese. Patrons at the Freret location can also look forward to local draft beers, wine, and special New Orleans-inspired ingredients like alligator sausage and muffuletta spread.

On Friday, February 17, guests who show up between 11 a.m. and 2 a.m. at the new restaurant can get a free pizza if they “like” or “follow” Blaze on social media.
