People.com reports that despite a guest appearance by John Besh — who is under fire for allegedly enabling a culture of sexual harassment at his restaurant groupIron Chef Showdown will air as planned. Besh serves as a guest judge on one episode of the new take on the classic Iron Chef format. The series will air on Food Network on November 8th, as planned.

King cake festival sets date

We now know the date for all-day king cake revelry. 2018’s King Cake Festival will happen on January 28, reports NOLA.com.
