COMING ATTRACTIONS — The feline-focused will soon be able to curl up at The Crescent City Cat Club in the Marigny, which opens on November 4. The even better news is that it is possible to take a cat home. All the cats, which come from the Jefferson Parish, are available for adoption. The space will house 10-15 cats, plus offer coffee, soda, water, chips, cookies, nuts and popcorn. It’s just $7 just to hang with the cats. Snacks and drinks are extra. BYO refreshments permitted. [GAMBIT]
THE CHAINS — Arby’s is leading the way for game meats to go mainstream. Last November, Arby’s introduced a venison sandwich, a limited-time offer that was available at only a handful of locations. Last week, Arby’s brought it back, rolling out nationwide for a single day — and people lined up early to get their hands on one. [EATER]
CRIMEWIRE — The final roadblock, the inclusion of a backpack as evidence, has been cleared in the trial of a band of men that robbed and terrorized Uptown restaurants for months in a rash of armed hold-ups. [ADVOCATE]
EATER IDK -- The Zatarain’s logo will now appear on the Pelican’s jerseys. [FOX 8]
