The petite hub of vegan, gluten-free, and raw food on Magazine Street, Superfood Bar, is heading to Denver, Colorado for its second location. Superfood Bar Denver plans to unleash smoothies, cold-pressed juices, salads, and wraps there by mid-November, according to Eater Denver.
“From drinks to sandwiches, everything is nutrient dense, and ‘incidentally vegan,’ which Stone says he is less concerned about than serving food that is healthy and accessible,” according to the report.
Twenty-five years ago, owner Joseph Stone was driving through Boulder and was blown away by the “health-conscious” town. He views this expansion as a “homecoming of sorts.” Stone is also plotting a move to Colorado.
Stone opened his petite, health-conscious eatery on Magazine Street in New Orleans in 2010. According to a Superfood employee, no changes are planned for the New Orleans location.
