Harrah’s Casino, which houses Besh Steak, has extinguished its relationship with chef and restaurateur John Besh following the allegations of institutionalized sexual harassment that put John Besh and his Besh Restaurant Group in the spotlight, reports Todd Price. Plans to rename the restaurant are underway.

Harrah's general manager Dan Real said that the company takes the allegations against Besh very seriously and that, to the best of his knowledge, none of the allegations pertain to Besh Steak.

The Besh Restaurant Group, which employs about 1200 people, finally created a human resources department a little over a week ago. However, the Besh Steak staff works for Harrah’s New Orleans. Harrah’s does have a human resources department, as well as a “toll-free anonymous ethics and compliance hotline which allows employees to report concerns and allegations.”

Twenty-five women recently spoke to NOLA.COM about sexual harassment at Besh Restaurant Group during an eight-month investigation that culminated in a mammoth report by Brett Anderson.
