Burger and fried food empire New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co. is once again in expansion mode. The chain owned by Good Company Food Group — operator of Legacy Kitchen and New Orleans Coffee & Beignet — will bring a new outpost to Oakwood Center in Terrytown, Ann Maloney confirms.
The group has been making big moves over the past several years, particularly when it comes to its Legacy Kitchen restaurants. Locations of Oyster + Tap Room by Legacy Kitchen and New Orleans Beignet & Coffee Co. are expected to land in the Pere Marquette Hotel this year along with a Due North by Legacy Kitchen at an as-of-yet-specified location on the Northshore.
According to Maloney another space inside the Renaissance Arts Hotel will be transformed into Legacy Kitchen’s Craft Tavern and beignet shops are in the works for Houma, LaPlace, and Denham Springs.
Good Company Food Group is also planning to begin franchising its hamburger brand as the company expands beyond the New Orleans metro area. The company currently runs 11 locations of New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co.
