New flavors by the Legacy Kitchen fam & more

CBD— A new bistro offering oysters, beignets, local beer, and coffee now graces a downtown corner. Legacy Kitchen’s Oyster + Counter Tap Room opened just after Christmas in the Pere Marquette hotel, replacing the once acclaimed MiLa. MID CITY— Brown Butter Southern Kitchen & Bar is honoring its second birthday by relaunching lunch service as of January 17. Served Tuesday-Friday from 11-3, lunch will feature a fresh, newly created menu. Reservations are available through OpenTable. [Eaterwire]

UPTOWN— Chef Alon Shaya’s Pizza Domenica is now serving up square-shaped pies and other new dishes in addition to delivering a limited menu through UberEats. When placed through the app, orders can be serviced during normal Pizza Domenica hours (Sunday-Thursday 12pm-9pm; Friday & Saturday 12pm-10pm.)

FRENCH QUARTER— In honor of National Oysters Rockefeller day, Antoine’s Restaurant is celebrating with a free order of the classic dish for patrons during the lunch and dinner services today, January 10, reports Ann Maloney. As the self-proclaimed birthplace of the oyster preparation, it’s a big day for this famous New Orleans establishment.
