QUARTER— Helen Freund reports that new taco pop-up Bird by Bird La Taqueria is now operating out of Molly’s (1107 Decatur) from David Robertshaw (he of Sidney Saloon’s tandoori pop up fame). Expect burritos, tacos, salads and more for $7 and under every Tues-Sat, 4 p.m. to midnight. . [Gambit]

BYWATER— Todd Price reports that cocktail and snack hub Oxalis has a new chef, Evan Tappen, an alum of Michelin starred restaurants Patina (in Los Angeles) and North Pond (Chicago).
