Drip Affogato Bars heads to Warehouse District in September
Paul Broussard

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Drip Affogato Bar, a sleek new shop that specializes in the decadent affogato dessert— gelato or ice cream with espresso poured over the top— will be taking over the former Haro Chocolate + Coffee space in the ever-booming Warehouse District next month.

Drip is the brainchild of first time restaurateurs and friends Juley Le (also the founder of lifestyle blog Upperlyne & Co.), Anh T Vu, and Justin Ramirez. French Truck Coffee will supply the coffee and the group is also partnering with Creole Creamery, which will produce a few exclusive ice cream flavors.

Drip’s signage is now up in the Warehouse District

Expect a matcha tea affogato with green tea ice cream dripped with matcha tea, bananas fosters, and a cookie monster affogato featuring hot chocolate for the kids. The shop will also have milk teas, craft coffee, pastries from Gracious Bakery and ice cream available all day.

Project Opening: September 10 at 703 Carondelet St. Projected hours will be daily, 8 a.m to 10 p.m. Check out Drip on Facebook right here.
