District Donuts Debuts Lakeview Outpost With Grilled Doughnut Sandwiches

Get ready to loosen your belts Lakeview. LGD’s favorite fried dough slinger, District Donuts. Sliders. Brew is now up-and-running in Lakeview. The New Orleans hotspot known for its A+ breakfast and lunch options flung open the doors at its anticipated satellite outpost at 7 a.m., according to The Times-Picayune, and immediately attracted a line.

Like the original spot on Magazine Street, the Lakeview location serves up an assortment of top-notch doughnut options including classic glazed and buttermilk drops. Keep an eye out as well for “Croquenuts” — grilled doughnut sandwiches filled with everything from cheese and fried eggs to caprese salad fixins.
