CITY PARK— Kin is jumping into the pop-up game Monday night at Blue Oak BBQ, 5 to 9 p.m. with a menu including crispy chicken wings, potstickers, and tonkotsu ramen. [Eaterwire]

ST. CLAUDE AVE— Helen Freund reports that Koreole hosts a pop-up to benefit the family of Alton Sterling on July 9 at 2809 St. Claude Avenue.  The event starts at 6 p.m. and is BYOB with dishes for $10 and under, including their amazing chicken wings. QUARTER— One of the hottest dinners of the summer—with chefs Isaac Toups (of Toups Meatery) and Alex Harrell (of Angeline) jumping in the kitchen with chef Marcus Woodham at Tujague's— is next Thursday, July 14. Five-courses and small batch bourbon cocktails for $110/person. [Advocate]

RIVERBEND— Ian McNulty also reports that chef Jason Goodenough will roll out a one-night only Celebration of Gluten men on July 20, 7 p.m. at Carrollton Market.  There will be eight courses, including a Buffalo-style fried gluten "made with gluten balls the chef found at an Asian grocery. A portion of proceeds of the dinner will actually benefit the Celiac Disease Foundations. $125/person (includes booze/wine pairings). [Advocate]

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— On July 26, the Ace Hotel and Lucky Peach Magazine host a Boudin Boogaloo from 6 to 9 p.m. with a sausage spread from Cochon chef Donald and Josephine Estelle's Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman.  Plus, Tiger Beer, live music from Bon Bon Vivant, drag queen bingo and Lucky Peach editor-in-chief Chris Ying will be signing the new book The Wurst of Lucky Peach.  $65 gets you food, two rounds of drinks and a copy of the book.
