Scary news from Lakeview this week with The Times-Pic's Jonathan Bullington reporting that neighborhood burger hub Lakeview Harbor was robbed by two masked gunman around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.
The gunmen, wearing ski masks, entered through a back door. They forced over 20 patrons and staff to the floor— reminiscent of last fall's Patois, Atchafalaya and Monkey Hill armed-robbery spree (four men have been indicted on those charges).
The Lakeview Harbor gunmen were reportedly armed with a 9 mm and an assault rifle that was used to shoot at a fleeing employee. The shot hit the host stand instead, prompting the duo to flee.
Unlike the 20+ minute wait for cops to show up at Patois, authorities responded within two minutes of the Lakeview Harbor robbery. The suspects have not been found though.
