QUARTER— Local guy Adrian "The Rabbit" Morgan won the Acme Oyster House World Oyster Eating Championship (at Oyster Fest) yesterday, downing 44 dozen raw Louisiana oysters and beating out The Black Widow, the renowned champion eater from Arizona, during a sudden death tie breaker. [NOLA.com]

NOLA— The sixth annual Eat Local Challenge is happening all this month with events galore, from urban farm bike rides to wine tastings to a mustard-making demo at Purloo planned for tomorrow, June 7, at 5 p.m. (along with happy hour).
