All-Star Chefs & Bartenders Bring Tiki Party To Central City on May 11

CENTRAL CITY— Peche chef Ryan Prewitt and Cane & Table tiki overlord Nick Detrich bring pop-up tiki party Offshore to Paradigm Gardens this Wednesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. with a $60 entry benefitting Tulane program A Studio In The Woods.  There will be suckling pig and more dishes from guest chefs Kristen Essig, Adam Biderman, Michael Stolzfus and drinks from guest bartender Ryan Gannon as well. QUARTER— The Omni Royal has named Nola native Troy Roth the director of food and beverage for the hotel, overseeing all operations including in-room dining and the Rib Room. NOLA— Ann Maloney reports that the fifth annual Crawfish Mambo was held at UNO this past weekend, with Russell Callais of Marrero sweeping the Crawfish Eating World Championship with 2.69 pounds of mudbugs downed in ten minutes time.
