Peek Inside A Stunning $1 Million Renovation on Decatur Street

Trinity opens next week

One of this year's most anticipated restaurants openings, Trinity, opens in the French Quarter on May 11 with contemporary Creole cuisine from Bouligny Tavern alum Michael Isolani and a cocktail program (boozy sno-balls!) by Adam Orzechowski. Here now, a look inside developer Hugh Uhalt's million dollar makeover of the former Maximo's space.

Trinity clocks in at 6,000 square feet with just over 100 seats total, including seating downstairs—a wrap-around food bar facing the open kitchen seats 17 alone— upstairs, and on the balcony overlooking Decatur. Uhalt turned to William Sonner Designs for the renovation, which plays up both contemporary design and old school Quarter charm.
