Actor Ruby Rose, known primarily for her role in Orange Is The New Black, was reportedly asked to leave CBD restaurant Rebellion on Friday night after throwing fries at a bartender and owner, according to The Times-Pic's Chelsea Brasted.
Rose was in town to DJ at the Metropolitan Nightclub.
After a long wait for food in the busy restaurant, the party grew upset. Rebellion owner Seung Hong claims appetizers and entrees went out within an hour, and Rose claims it took an hour just for fries to appear and over 90 minutes for more (not all) dishes to arrive.
Rose claims that a bartender also made rude and derogatory jokes to the table regarding her sobriety when she asked about the food, and that she reacted "emotionally" by throwing a fry, and then more fries when he returned and said more vulgarities such as "go call your f**king sponsor!" as they were leaving.
Hong claims that Rose was having a "temper tantrum," despite being warned about the wait due to several large parties that night and offers to compensate the appetizers. He says she was also "trying to be a bully" by cursing out and throwing a fry at a bartender who was checking in on them and offered a round of free drinks for the wait, and then throwing more fries at Hong when he asked the party to leave.
