NOLA— Link Group chefs Stephen Stryjewski and Ryan Prewitt are joining Chefs Cycle, a No Kid Hungry campaign, to raise funds to fight childhood hunger.  The chefs are raffling off two awesome bikes from Youth Empowerment Project (raffle entry is $20 and available at all Link Group restaurants), and will set off to California on June 27 for a three-day cycle from Carmel to Santa Barbara. You can also donate to Stryjewski and Prewitt's rides online. [Eaterwire]

QUARTER— Mark your calendars, Brennan's second annual turtle parade—yes, a parade of Brennan's beloved turtles— will happen on Mother's Day, May 7. The 'slowest second line on Earth' starts at 11 a.m. on Bienville with kids and costumes encouraged. Parade route below. Champagne sabering, grasshopper libations, and appetizers to follow at Brennan's, where the turtles will be formally pardoned. [Eaterwire]
