SLIDELL— Chef John Besh hosts a crawfish boil at his home on May 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. to raise funds and awareness for the John Besh Foundation, which provides scholarships for New Orleans minorities to go to culinary schools and more. $75 covers food and drink ($50 for Besh Foundation members) and kids under 12 are free.
