Filipino restaurant Milkfish will be shuttering its Mid City spot on March 14, Todd Price reports this week. Owner Cristina Quackenbush hopes to seek out a new location, potentially in the CBD area or elsewhere, noting that the leased N. Carrollton space was too expensive to turn a profit and a bit too large for her operation.
As for the future of Milkfish (per a press release):
We will be participating in a series of events and pop-ups... We do not have a definitive timeline for our future location.
Burmese pop up Lahpet will continue to operate its lunch pop up at Milkfish until March 14 as well. Follow Milkfish here for news.
