GENTILLY— Ian McNulty reports that a new family-friendly grab and go spot/cafeteria Füd Bar is moving into the former GO Burger at 1522 Robert E. Lee this spring.  Owners Erik Neumann and Robert Faust (who most recently consulted on Mahony's Po' Boys) will offer:

A combination grab-and-go/dine-in eatery, with a salad bar, wraps and panini and a hot food line.

The spot has applied for a booze permit, and will also be home to a food delivery service Füd Bag, which actually launches next week. [Advocate]

FRERET— Helen Freund reports that Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine is heading to 4714 Freret St. (between Humble Bagel and Mojo) in April.  The restaurant will offer ceviche, fried seafood plates, and traditional dishes including lomo saltado and causa, for lunch and dinner. The owners, including Peruvian transplant Luis Ampuero, are seeking a booze permit. On Facebook here. [Gambit]
