The French Quarter's tiny third wave coffee hub Spitfire Coffee is expanding with a larger second location in the Treme, Todd Price reports. Owner Nick Christian plans to open the new shop in late summer/early fall at 810 N. Claiborne (between St. Ann & Dumaine).
The cafe will also be home to Scout Bakery, a wholesale business popular with restaurant clients including Angeline, and plans call for a patio as well.
