UPTOWN— On St. Joseph's Day, March 19, chef Nick Lama will debut an altar in Avo's courtyard from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring his family's own cuccidati (and more baked goods). Blessing at noon, followed by a meal served to the public until the food runs out. Proceeds will go to St. Francis Church. Avo is also offering a $60 Feast of St. Josephs dinner menu as well.  [Eaterwire]

CBD— The International House will also unveil its annual St. Joseph's Day altar on Saturday from 4 to 7p.m.  featuring Dong Phuong breads, apertif specials from Loa, Sicilian pizza from Emeril's, appearances by Guardians of the Flame Maroon Societ, the Gold Digger Baby Dolls and more. [Facebook]
