BYWATER— Bud Rip's (900 Piety) hosts a fish fry this Friday, March 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with proceeds benefitting the Society of St. Cecilia and Bywater Brass Band. $8 gets you catfish, cornbread and red cabbage slaw, plus the added pleasure of knowing that the Bywater Brass Band will be able to roll with St. Cecilia on Mardi Gras morning from the Bywater to the river.
