Will open by Jazz Fest

Facebook

Mid City barbecue pop up Blue Oak BBQ will go full brick-and-mortar in the former Fellini's space (900 N. Carrollton) this April, Ian McNulty reports.  Owners Ronnie Evans and Philip Moseley aim to open by Jazz Fest, and will continue operating their pop-up at Chickie Wah Wah while the new spot undergoes renovations, including a new bar (with full booze).

Expect an expanded menu including signature sandwiches, 'cool ranch cracklin,' boudin, beef ribs and of course, the duo's signature smoked chicken wings.
