Take A Peek Inside Uptown's New Biscuit Hotspot Hivolt Bakery

HiVolt Coffee, the LGD stalwart of third-wave coffee drinks, tasty breakfast and lunch eats and epic people watching, has expanded Uptown with its new HiVolt Bakery at 5720 Magazine. The spot used to house P's & Q's bakery, with a Hivolt Coffee counter inside.

Now owner Benji Lee and team have taken over the space, with pastry chef Liz Hollinger serving an array of baked goods, along with breakfast and lunch in the $5 to $10 range, and of course, a great coffee program featuring Counter Culture coffee. Todd Price also reports that the bakery sells whole cakes, pies and quiches with advanced notice.
