The anticipated French Quarter restaurant Trinity, which intends to take over the Maximo's space in March, has just undergone a pre-opening chef shuffle according to Todd Price. New chef Michael Isolani of Bouligny Tavern is now IN, with Scott Maki out of the project.
Price reports that the restaurant hasn't made a comment about the last minute change, but that Maki was reportedly arrested for domestic abuse battery last month.
No word on if Trinity's opening date is still on pace for March. The space has been undergoing a million dollar makeover, and the restaurant will specialize in contemporary Creole cuisine.
