John Besh's New Fêtes Fest; Armed Robbery at NOLA Beans

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Helen Freund reports that The Crescent City Farmer's Market is searching for a new spot to host its Saturday market by summer, as its current 700 Magazine St. location is set to be redeveloped for commercial use by the owners. [Gambit]

CBD— Ian McNulty reports that John Besh has added another event alongside his exclusive $1,000 fundraising gala Fetes du Chefs planned for March 19.  An $80/person Fêtes Fest will debut on Friday, March 18 (8 to 11 p.m.) at the Civic with food from local and visiting chefs, an open bar, and live music (tickets here).
